I got the 8 core soon after it was released to replace my aging Dual 867 G4. I couldn't even run FCP 6 on that thing, so I decided to go for the big dog. I mainly use Final Cut Studio 2 and Logic Studio, but I also use that machine to do all my Keynote development for Keynoteuser.com. You should see Compressor max out all 8 processors when compressing Mpeg2 for DVD :)

I love my Mac Pro, is amazing, fast, powerful. I do Film, i have FCS5, AE CS3, PS CS3, ILL CS3, LR CS3, Particle Illusion and a few more graphic programs. Besides the music software, Garage, Traktor DJ, etc.
Is just amazing.
I'm a PC/ MAC user, i love both system, they each have their attributes.

My problem is configuration, not knowing which way to go, cause configured the way I want it is like 15K! I could have swore but am not absolutely sure, I watched a video and emeek was saying he put a velociraptor or two in his MacPro, of course I do like those 15,000 rpm SAS drives, I just wish they were bigger than 300 GB, choices, choices, choices...

What's up everybody, I am blown away by the power, awesomeness, and beauty of this machine. I am trying to set everything in order to have one of these bad boys by Sept or Oct. I'll post more soon, hope to see some others in here soon.
